Preparation

  1. How to Make Fried Squid with Torch Ginger Sambal:

    • Prepare all ingredients, wash the squid, cut into rings, and season with a bit of baking powder.
    • Finely chop the kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, and pandan leaves, then set aside.
    • Coarsely grind the red spice mix and chilies.
    • Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped leaves, red spice mix, and ground chilies, sauté until fragrant and the oil separates.
    • Add the squid, mix well, cook for about 10 minutes, then remove and serve.
