Preparation

  1. How to Make Morning Pop Chicken:

    • Prepare all ingredients, wash thoroughly, and set aside. Cut the chicken into 4 pieces. 
    • Prepare coconut water and other ingredients for boiling the chicken. Add the chicken, simmer until cooked, remove, and set aside. Brush with coconut oil. 
    • Prepare sambal ingredients, grind all ingredients except coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk. Heat oil, sauté the ground spices until cooked and oily, then remove and cool. 
    • Blend the sautéed spices, add sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk, blend until smooth, adjust seasoning, and add chicken broth. 
    • Strain the sambal, adjust seasoning, and serve with the chicken.
